Adoption Fees

Adoption fees are set to assist us in covering basics of getting the cat adoptable. When we rescue a cat we get them to a vet for a full health check.  Most of them need intensive medical care and that is fully funded by our volunteers.

The adoption fee of £200 covers the following:

  • Health check

  • Vaccinations to start, booster vaccine where needed and rabies vaccine to travel

  • Microchip

  • Spay/neuter

  • Deworming

  • Flea/Tick/Antiparasitic treatment

Adoption from abroad can be a daunting and foreign concept but we have set out the full step-by-step process for you and we guide you through it all the way:

  1. Adoption Application Questionnaire submitted via our site and initial call from our UK team

  2. Submit a video walkthrough of your home(indoor only) and garden (indoor/outdoor cat)

  3. Postcode check and verify indoor/outdoor option

  4. Zoom interview

  5. References check (we ask for two references whom we can contact and we also provide you with two families who’s adopted from us before and you can call/message them to ask about the process)

  6. We share full vet records of the cat/s you’ve chosen to apply to adopt

  7. Decision to adopt or not - Adoption forms signed both parties

  8. Flight plans of shipments checked

  9. Flight date confirmed and 50% deposit of adoption fee paid (via international PayPal/Wise app)

  10. Two days before the flight we create a WhatsApp group for all adopters and rescuers of the cats in shipment and you are fully aware of each step we go through till the cats are checked in

  11. Cats fly from UAE to Heathrow in cargo. Upon landing they get placed in boarding at Heathrow Animal Center for processing which takes approx 5 hrs

  12. You collect the cat with full pet passport at Heathrow and drive home

  13. Pay the balance of adoption fee

  14. You add the cat to your pet insurance and register them on UK pet database as well as register them with your vet

  15. Happily ever after cat photos to be shared with us of your new furry family member
